Just from one bride to another...
As a bride of a destination wedding I did not realize how much I needed to do once I arrived. I thought that all of my research and planning at home would have been enough, I just wanted to enjoy my special wedding day. Now as a stylist, I want to offer a relaxing day for brides and their bridal party once they arrive to their wedding destination. Don't worry about leaving your B&B or suite I will come to you. Just relax and don't worry about getting to a salon or spa for your appointment on time, finding parking, then having to wait for your stylist. With your own personal stylist, everything is brought to you rain or shine, JUST IN TIME for your special day.
I started my exciting journey of hair design when I attended Paul Mitchell the School in Costa Mesa, Ca while living in Huntington Beach in 2005. I moved to Kansas to work in an AVEDA Concept Salon in NE Wichita providing salon and spa services from haircuts (that included aromatherapy scalp massages)colors, corrective colors, facials, facial waxing, spa manicures and spa pedicures, body wraps, body scrubs, body waxing, eye lash tinting and application, makeup applications for special occasions from children's birthday parties, prom, pageant, wedding, fashion show and everyday/evening wear.
Soon after, I paired my love for hair design and my passion to teach and completed the extra hours and testing to become dual licensed as a cosmetology and esthetics instructor in the state of Kansas and Arkansas. I was able to give stylists the confidence and knowledge of skincare and haircare, business and salon management as well as client retention. I continue my cosmetology education by attending local and national hair shows and mentoring with stylist with like minded and dissimilar styles. I feel as a stylist we are always learning new things and the best way to learn is from others in the industry.
